Using the website

RandomBibleVerseToday lets you read Scripture and create verse images without registering an account. We do not ask for your name or email address to use these tools.

What stays in your browser

We use your browser’s local storage to remember:

• Your light or dark theme preference.
• Your saved verses and passages.
• Recently shown curated passages, to reduce repeats.
• Your most recent image draft, including its imported passage or custom text and reference, style settings, and a resized background photo if you chose one.

This information stays in that browser and is not sent to us or synchronized to an account. It remains until you change it, clear the site’s browser storage, or your browser removes it. Other people using the same browser profile may be able to see it.

Photos, downloads, and sharing

Background photos are resized and processed on your device. We do not upload them to a server. Verse images are also generated in your browser.

Copy actions write the selected passage or link to your clipboard when you request it. Downloading saves an image to your device. If you choose your browser’s native sharing option, the image is passed to the app or service you select; that service handles it under its own privacy practices.

Cookies and analytics

The website’s tools use local storage rather than cookies to remember your preferences and content. We do not include advertising trackers.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page views, visits, and page performance. A script provided by Cloudflare collects these analytics. For details about how the service handles data, see the Cloudflare Web Analytics documentation.

When your browser requests a page or file, the hosting and network providers receive connection information such as your IP address, browser details, requested URL, and request time. They may process or retain technical logs to deliver and secure the website.

Your choices

You can remove individual saved passages on the Saved page. To remove all locally stored information, including image drafts and preferences, clear this website’s site data in your browser settings. This also resets your saved collection and recent-passage history.

If local storage is blocked or unavailable, some preferences, saved verses, and drafts may not persist after you leave or reload the page.

Feedback

Our Contact & Feedback page embeds a form hosted by Tally. Loading the form connects your browser to Tally, which receives technical information such as your IP address and browser details to deliver and secure the form.

When you submit feedback, Tally stores your selected feedback type, message, and any email address you choose to provide, and makes the submission available to us. We use this information to review suggestions, investigate issues, and reply when appropriate. Your email address is optional, and feedback is not published on this website.

Feedback submissions are separate from the saved verses and image drafts stored in your browser. Tally processes information under its Privacy Policy. Please avoid sending passwords or other sensitive personal information.
